Everything has an 'AI' tag these days !
- put simply, AI is based on computer algorithms (initially computer code written by people) and data sources
- these algorithms access vast amounts of data; then process it and present the results
- over time, these algorithms can 'self-learn' without help from people (essentially write computer code themselves) with the goal of improving their outputs
What benefits does Artificial Intelligence offer ?
- whilst often considered singular, based on the above principles, AI is applied to many areas
